Today is a good day and one I have waited for, for many years. Today Earth, Wind and Fire (EWF) is born! Starting my own planning consultancy has been a long-held dream and one that has taken years to bring to fruition. With 13 years’ of industry experience behind me I now have the capability and confidence to finally take the leap. I’m ready and can’t wait to get started.

Becoming a mother in 2018 spurred me on to pursue my dream. The arrival of my baby prompted me to take stock of what is important and what example I wanted to set. That was the moment that I knew I had to get Earth, Wind and Fire off the ground, having a clingy child does this for you!

As I sit here writing this blog it’s time to reflect on my career to date and how far I have come from when I first graduated back in 2005 (showing my age now). I have had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing landowners and have helped them gain permissions all over the country. Whether it be for wind turbines, solar farms or residential conversions that have enabled families to maintain either a farming legacy or just expand and push themselves forward, it is a career that has been incredibly rewarding.
