Earth, Wind and Fire (EWF) are currently working on a single dwelling project for a family who are looking to rejuvenate a recently purchased piece of land. The existing building has fallen into disrepair and while the site has permission for a business unit that was approved some time ago, the family are actually keen to live on the site, subject to planning. The site benefits from existing access and we can see the potential it has as a location for a modest dwelling.

EWF will submit an outline planning application to determine whether the Local Authority will in principle agree with a single residential development at this location. With reserved matters sought after this to confirm all of the details including materials.

As is often the case, the design of the building will be paramount, ensuring that it is aesthetically pleasing and is sympathetic to the existing environment. EWF are currently reviewing the locale and working alongside the architect to find the most appropriate balance in terms of design.
